Have any questions about about LED lighting, then LED-Man is here to help. No question's too probing, no issue leftunresolved. Q:I am fitting a new bathroom. Do you have a guide as to how many bulbs or the total number of lumens I would need for a given area? A: We recommend a distance between spotlight fittings of 1m-1.5m. This may slightly vary dependent on the brightness and beam angle of the bulb. For more info on which bulb is right for you see here > Bathroom-spotlights Q: Can the LED strip be cut? A: Yes, at the points indicated on the strip as it is self-terminating. You can extend and make corners/turns in it with the connectors available in the accessories section. Please note however, that the Plug and Play kits cannot be extended. strip-cut-out Q:How do you know if you need to upgrade the transformer or not? A:In most cases it is necessary due to the difference in wattage between LED and halogen. The transformer will have a minimum loadand the LED often does not meet this load sufficiently due to their low wattage. GU10s have built in transformers though so they aren't an issue. Q: Do you only sell LEDs? A: Funny you should ask that. We have recently added some exciting energy saving products and some home security devices to our range. Check these out: Q: How do I connect the solar panel to my solar floodlight? A: The jack socket is concealed under a plastic plug at the rear of the lamp. Solar-flood-connector
