LED Hut and Salford City FC join forces for another season

LED Hut are proud to announce that they are continuing their partnership with local side Salford City FC for another season. Last season saw ‘The Ammies’ gain promotion to the Conference Premier via the play-offs in what was a year to remember for the side owned by Class Of ’92 and former Manchester United stars Gary and Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes. Salford also produced a series of memorable performances in the FA Cup: beating League Two side Notts County and forcing Hartlepool into a replay, before being stopped in the 2^nd Round. After twice televising The Ammies' FA Cup exploits, the BBC also ran a hit behind-the-scenes documentary series about the club, which has now been scheduled for a second running. Salford kicked-off their 2016/17 pre-season campaign on Tuesday night against cross-city neighbours Manchester United, with over 1,000 fans flocking to see a local derby that was packed full of action and plenty of goals. Sporting their new 2016/17 kit (see below), Salford succumbed to a 5-1 defeat, with 4 goals coming in the final 25 minutes. Despite the defeat, Salford will be buoyed by a positive and competitive opening hour against Premier League opposition.
