LED-Man’s Big Questions 20/08/15
LED-Man has flown in again to answer all your LED related questions. Let's see what he has in store this week... Q: My spotlights are low voltage and measure 35mm diameter. What are they? A: MR11 is the low voltage spot with 35mm diameter, like these: LED_MR16s Q: Can I run different lengths of LED strip from the two outputs on the transformer? A: Yes, the outputs are parallel, so it doesn't matter. You can use one or both outputs. Remember however to choose a transformer of the sufficient rating for the strip. Calculate this at 5, 10 or 15 watts per metre, for the 60 small, 120 small or 60 large strip respectively. Q: Can you advise on the installation of the WiFi LED RGB Controller? A: Yes. It comes first in the chain after the transformer, and will take its power from the transformer.
